Using Your Information
Personal Data Type: Name, address, contact details and payment details, age profile or DOB, Product information (i.e. appliance type, appliance age)
Source: The personal data we use is obtained from reputable UK registered Data Brokers and is usually generated from a number of marketing surveys collected via online and telephone sources. We undertake due diligence on all our suppliers to try and ensure that the appropriate lawful collection of your data for marketing purposes. We screen all telephone numbers via the TPS systems to ensure those that have objected to marketing calls are excluded, unless you have directly consented to us calling you.

Rights to your information
By writing to the Data Protection assignee using the contact details provided below, you have the right to ask us:

Sharing your information
We may share you personal information with third party partners required to fulfil our obligations under the Contract. Only the required data will be shared with our partners. For example we may share your data with the following;

Payment Collection partners – to allow us to collection payments you have agreed i.e. direct debit and card payments.

Repair Network partners – to be able to repair your appliances.

Revenue Collection partners – to collect outstanding payments.

International transfers of your information
We may transfer your information to countries (including South Africa) which may not have data protection laws which provide the same level of protection as provided in the UK. Where this occurs we use approved Data Processing and Sharing agreements combined with various safeguard measures to ensure that such information is adequately secured and protected.
Retention Period
Your Brand Cover Limited will process personal data for up to six years and store the personal data for six years in support of any claims under the contract and other legal obligations.
Complaints
In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by Your Brand Cover or how your complaint has been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with Your Brand Cover’s data protection assignee at info@yourbrandcover.com or directly with the supervisory authority.
